Perform system upgrades, patches, and configurations for telecommunications equipment and software. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network performance and capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and interoperability. Develop and implement network security measures to protect communication systems. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and operational procedures. Monitor network performance and capacity, implementing optimizations as needed. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in telecommunications systems engineering. In-depth knowledge of IP networking, VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323), and QoS. Experience with PBX systems, unified communications platforms, and contact center technologies. Familiarity with wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G) and related infrastructure. Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP Voice) are a plus.
