Customer Service Representative (Full Time) Remote

Remote General: We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our sales and service team at Mueller Streamline, a leading publicly traded manufacturing and distribution company headquartered in Collierville, TN. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurate and timely support to the functions of order validation, pricing and availability requests, shipment status inquiries, and discrepancy management. This role works in partnership with members of our sales and warehouse teams to ensure success throughout the order fulfillment process. The ideal candidate excels in managing a high volume of customer orders for multiple accounts while maintaining a positive attitude and operating with a success-oriented mentality. Responsibilities:

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with customers via phone and email
  • Shows proficiency in adopting and utilizing multiple technology platforms and programs to address customer needs
  • Provides knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability
  • Works with internal departments to meet customers' needs, including peers and members of management
  • Completes order validation to meet and/or exceed team targets
  • Capably participates in the order allocation and assignment to the appropriate distribution centers, according to outlined processes
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures to execute 360 customer account management for assigned customers
  • Research and reviews customer reported issues to resolve discrepancies that may occur in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable in both attendance and performance
  • Excellent organization, communication and time-management skills
  • Learns quickly and demonstrates consistent attention to detail
  • Adept at balancing and prioritizing competing customer needs
  • Self-motivated to work well independently while contributing positively to team success
  • Both people- and process-oriented
  • Familiarity with QAD ERP and Esker Order Management are a plus
