Credit Union Central of Manitoba is the trade association and service provider for the province's credit unions. They are seeking a Treasury Services Analyst I to support the Treasury Services Department in managing a fixed income investment portfolio, including forecasting daily cash requirements and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to the Treasury Services Department in the management of a fixed income investment portfolio
• Forecasting credit union system's daily cash requirement
• Preparing and verifying recurring reports

Skills

• A post-secondary degree with focus in Math, Economics or Finance
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Highly organized with a strong mathematical aptitude and high degree of accuracy
• Basic level of accounting
• Experience in VBA macro writing would be an asset
• 1-2 years working experience (including prior Co-op placement) in a similar position would be an asset
• Enrolment in the CFA program is considered an asset
