Solution Architect ECAD (m/f/d)

As an Solution Architect for ECAD and PLM systems, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating their engineering and business requirements into viable integration concepts. You will design integration solutions and coordinate their technical implementation, ensuring alignment with existing IT landscapes and architectural standards. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs, structuring requirements, and bridging the gap between ECAD, PLM, and IT teams. Working closely with stakeholders, you will define interfaces and support implementation teams by providing clear guidance and ensuring that best practices are followed. Acting as the central point of contact, you will support the integration of solutions into existing systems, assist with testing and deployment, and contribute to the continuous development of the solution over its lifecycle. This role requires strong expertise in ECAD and PLM systems, a solid technical understanding, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly. A structured, customer-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills in English are essential; German skills are a plus. What you can expect You will design customized integration solutions between ECAD and PLM systems, focusing on scalability, maintainability and performance. Based on functional and technical requirements, you will develop viable integration concepts and system architectures that align with existing IT landscapes You will define interfaces, coordinate technical implementation teams and ensure that architectural principles, quality standards and best practices are adhered to In close coordination with customers and internal stakeholders, you will oversee the solution throughout its entire life cycle, from requirements analysis to implementation and commissioning You will take on technical project responsibility, assist with architecture reviews and ensure the solution is sustainably documented and developed further You will also be the main contact for integrating the solution into existing systems, supporting teams with qualifications, testing and support remotely or on-site What you bring with you A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification from a university or technical college Several years' experience working with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or Oracle Agile Several years' experience working with ECAD systems such as Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition/ PADS, Cadence OrCAD, Aucotec Engineering Base, EPLAN Electric P8 or others Several years of experience in both traditional and agile project management Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work, with a strong focus on customer needs Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in both written and spoken) German language skills are a plus Knowledge of .NET, C++, Java, C#, COM/COM+, XML, and ideally Ruby and the corresponding frameworks is a plus We offer you Experienced team and the opportunity to contribute your ideas and suggestions, help shape processes and actively contribute to the further development of our solutions Modern IT environment with opportunities for innovation Professional development and certification opportunities Competitive compensation and benefits package Collaborative and supportive team culture Opportunity to explore AI-enhanced IT processes
