Software Engineer – Entry Level for Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions
General Dynamics is a leading company in high technology solutions and services for defense and scientific arenas. They are seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team focused on engineering Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions.
Responsibilities
- As a software engineer for Space, Cyber, and Intelligence (SC&I) business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for engineering Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math, plus 1 year of relevant experience; or Master's degree
- Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology
- Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
- Languages such as Rust, C, C++, Java, Python, C#
- Environments such as Linux, SELinux, Windows PowerShell
- Software
- Debugging
- Test
- Embedded environments such as Embedded Linux, RTOS, VxWorks, ESXi, YOCTOL
- Networking and Protocols such as IP, Ethernet, Cryptography, or Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
- Security expertise such as NSA High Assurance, Raise the Bar
- Debugging and Scripting such as Bash, Perl, sed, awk, Python
