We are seeking a technically skilled and passionate Senior-level Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning methods to join our international and dynamic Data Science department at AUTO1 Group Technology. As a Data Scientist at AUTO1 Group in the outflow sales team, you’ll work on solving complex business challenges such as providing personalized recommendation, dynamic pricing for inventory cars, managing demand forecasting for used car markets and finance risk prediction. You’ll drive end-to-end development from prototyping innovative solutions to deploying scalable models. Working closely with devops, engineers, and product teams, you’ll leverage machine learning to shape key decisions and contribute directly to AUTO1’s growth. Job Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable machine learning models to optimize vehicle selling and demand management Identify business opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into machine learning solutions that drives growth and impact Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy Data Science services and embed them in the Auto1 tech infrastructure Monitor and improve model performance in production, communicate results with stakeholders and develop actionable next steps Mentor and support junior data scientists, setting technical direction and ensuring best practices

Qualifications

At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with a broad range of machine learning techniques including traditional machine learning and neural network and the ability to identify the appropriate technique in different complex real-world business scenarios Strong background in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design (including A/B testing) Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow) with coding best practices and code reviews in git/github Proven track record of managing the complete lifecycle of data science projects, from initial design and development to deploying robust models in production, leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines Strong communication and visualization skills, with experience presenting both to peers and to executive and non-technical audiences in a clear and unambiguous way Experience in effective collaboration, you are a natural team player and communicate fluently in English Additional Information Contact Marija Dimitrova At AUTO1 Group we live an open culture, believe in direct communication, and value diversity.
