Sales Engineer

North Sea Systems is a company that designs, builds, and operates specialist equipment for the offshore renewables and telecoms industries. They are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to support sales activities, learn about their products and technology, and eventually take ownership of sales and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Managing Director in all aspects of the sales process
  • Learn and develop a deep understanding of our technology, products, and applications
  • Assist with client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
  • Travel regularly to meet customers, attend site visits, and represent the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Contribute to proposals, quotations, and technical documentation
  • Gradually take the lead on sales opportunities and customer accounts

Skills

  • Degree or background in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Charismatic, energetic, and confident in engaging with clients
  • Ambitious and motivated to grow into a senior sales role
  • Willingness to travel extensively as part of the role
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small team environment
