[Remote] Travel Analyst

The Travel Analyst coordinates travel arrangements for Field Safety Specialists, ensuring efficient and cost-effective travel while managing itineraries and bookings.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review case work orders and confirm date and time of visit with Sponsor to schedule site visit
  • Coordinate travel for Field Safety Specialists once site visits are confirmed with the Sponsor, ensuring all arrangements comply with requirements and company procedures
  • Schedule and confirm Field Safety Specialist travel within 24 hours after receiving confirmation of site visit
  • Work closely and in conjunction with the corporate travel contractor to book flights, lodging and ground transportation
  • Responsible for entering travel requests into the company’s Scheduling System and creating work orders for each order
  • Work with supervisory management and elevate concerns as needed Communicate travel requirement (s) to the Field Safety Specialists
  • Confirm bookings with each Field Safety Specialist and appropriate parties
  • Provide Field Safety Specialists date and time of arrival for each case assigned
  • Aid in changing and/or canceling flights, provides Field Safety Specialist with travel-related information
  • Remain aware of travel-related information that may cause delays or prevent flight connections from occurring and communicate this information to the Field Safety Specialist in route
  • Make last-minute travel arrangements or cancellations due to inclement weather or other travel emergencies
  • Ensure accurate transportation itinerary information is available to employees and appropriate parties
  • Answer phones and return phone calls in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Possess an associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college (a high school diploma with an extra two or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for an associate degree)
  • Have at least two years of documented experience in a field related to security, law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area; certification, licensure, and credentials applicable to the professional accreditation of the position (a minimum of four years of experience is required when a high school diploma with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for an associate degree)
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate experience applicable to the goals and objectives of the program sufficient to communicate with other staff, and appropriate for a similar program environment
  • Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be willing to learn internal company systems (Saturn, Mercury, etc.)
  • Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with different departments within the company, employees and with clients
  • Ability to take technical direction and feedback from various sources
  • Committed to providing outstanding customer service and representation of MVM in a professional manner
  • Requires the ability to prioritize work, meet stringent deadlines, balance multiple tasks and work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver the highest quality of work under extreme pressure
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a rotating shift, overnight, holidays, and weekends to support a 24/7 operation
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance
  • Favorable credit Check
  • Successfully pass a background investigation, drug screen
  • May be required to pass or present specific requirements depending on the position (i.e., DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, flu shot)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
