TechTrans International is a provider of language services and travel logistics, seeking an experienced remote Technical Writer for a contingent opportunity within the United States. In this journeyman-level role, the Technical Writer will perform documentation support functions, including the development and maintenance of program documentation and reports, while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical writing, editing, and maintenance of program documentation, reports, and official deliverables
• Ensure all written materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with contract requirements to support seamless communication with Government stakeholders
• Coordinate with logistics, sustainment, and contingency operations personnel to gather, organize, and refine complex operational data into standardized formats
• Support the preparation of Program Management Plans, status reports, transition documentation, and other required contract deliverables
• Establish and maintain document templates, style guides, and formatting standards to ensure consistency across all program tasks

Skills

• Must possess and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• 3 to 10 years of professional experience supporting technical writing, editing, records management, document control, reporting, configuration documentation, and knowledge management activities
• Bachelor's (BA/BS) or Master's (MA/MS) degree
• High School Diploma / GED: 7 years of relevant experience
• Associate's Degree: 6 years of relevant experience
• BA/BS Degree: 4–6 years of relevant experience
• MA/MS Degree: 2 years of relevant experience
• Doctorate Degree: 0 years of experience
• Journeyman personnel are expected to perform all functional duties independently
• Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), records management certification, administrative professional, travel coordination, or equivalent business operations credentials
