Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ALIGNERCO is seeking an experienced SEO Freelancer to enhance the organic visibility and search rankings of their e-commerce website. The role involves conducting a comprehensive SEO audit, developing a future SEO strategy, and collaborating with the in-house team to implement recommendations for sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our in-house marketing, content, and development teams
• Conduct a comprehensive SEO audit covering:
• Technical SEO
• On-page SEO
• Off-page SEO
• Website architecture and internal linking
• Content performance and keyword targeting
• Core Web Vitals and site speed
• Competitor analysis
• Review our existing SEO goals, strategies, and performance metrics
• Identify issues affecting rankings, traffic, and conversions
• Provide a detailed audit report with actionable recommendations and prioritization
• Develop a future SEO strategy focused on sustainable organic growth
• Create a keyword roadmap to improve rankings for high-priority commercial keywords
• Recommend content opportunities, backlink strategies, and technical improvements
• Guide and support our in-house team in implementing SEO recommendations
• Participate in regular strategy calls and progress reviews

Skills

• Proven experience in SEO, preferably with e-commerce websites
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, keyword research, content strategy, and link building
• Experience working collaboratively with internal marketing and development teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar
• Ability to prioritize recommendations based on business impact and implementation effort
