They are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with expertise in React and TypeScript to design and maintain scalable web applications, ensuring performance and accessibility while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React applications using TypeScript, with a focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability
• Build efficient GraphQL operations
• Develop reusable, well-tested UI components and maintain a consistent design system
• Deploy releases and hotfixes to production environments
• Debug issues in production or development environments
• Write unit/integration tests as part of each feature/bug fix
• Collaborate cross-functionally with back-end engineers and product stakeholders to deliver robust and maintainable systems
• Apply front-end best practices for performance, accessibility, security, and code quality
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to engineering standards, and support continuous improvement across the team

Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end software development
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and React
• Experience with GraphQL clients (Apollo Client or equivalent) and consuming API schemas
• Solid understanding of component architecture, state management patterns, and modern React paradigms
• Familiarity with AWS-hosted front-end infrastructure (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows
• Able to perform root cause analysis on issues within the application
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with AWS CDK or IaC for front-end infrastructure configuration
• Performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, caching strategies)
• Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA / 508 compliance)
• FedRAMP or other certification knowledge
