Arcane Credit is building the future of accessible credit, and they are seeking a part-time meticulous QA expert to own the testing lifecycle for their mobile apps. The role involves testing cross-platform and native applications, creating testing playbooks, and executing end-to-end manual testing to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Test our cross-platform and native apps built on Flutter and Swift
• Create comprehensive testing playbooks and test cases from scratch
• Execute end-to-end manual testing, isolate bugs, and act as our ultimate quality gatekeeper

Skills

• 5+ years of mobile QA experience (iOS & Android)
• Strong experience testing Flutter and native iOS mobile applications
• Experience using mock servers (or API mocking)
• Strong experience testing 'Sad Paths' & edge cases, as well as discovering and isolating bugs
• Deep understanding of mobile-specific interruptions (network drops, backgrounding, etc.)
• Mastery of native debugging and log tools
• App distribution and release pipeline knowledge
• Security and privacy awareness
