They are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making processes and enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and preparing data from various sources for analysis
• Conduct preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders
• Support the team in standardizing data sets and ensuring data quality
• Collaborate with senior analysts to understand business needs and provide insights
• Document analytical processes and maintain accurate records of data sources
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and findings

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics
• 0-3 years of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL)
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and software
• Knowledge of data management best practices including SQL
• Prior internship or coursework in data analysis or a related area is beneficial
• Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
