They are seeking a Jr. Front End Developer to provide website maintenance, collaborate on projects, and enhance user experiences through web development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide website maintenance and enhancements to existing websites through the use of CSS, JS, and HTML
• Work closely with team members from various teams to ensure that client requests are consistent to the overall design of the website and follow web development best practices
• Collaborate with our team on projects to improve scalability, performance, and usability across our platform
• Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions
• Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
• An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)

Skills

• Strong educational background in Computer Science or similar experience
• Web markup, including HTML, CSS, Sass, and Javascript (jQuery)
• Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Proficient understanding of accessibility and performance standards
• An eye for design and web aesthetics
• Fast learner and collaborative team player
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Familiarity with Git, Amazon AWS, Hubspot
• Knowledge of version control, continuous integration methodologies
