They are seeking an EHR Healthcare Interoperability Analyst to provide technical expertise in EHR integration and support healthcare organizations in utilizing NC HealthConnex effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHR onboarding and integration with NC HealthConnex, working with providers and EHR vendors
• Support interoperability standards including HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, and USCDI
• Validate and troubleshoot clinical data submissions to ensure data quality and compliance
• Provide technical training and support on NC HealthConnex services, including NC•Notify and the provider portal
• Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and vendors to resolve integration issues and enhance onboarding processes
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NC HIEA standards, and healthcare data exchange requirements

Skills

• 5+ years of experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Allscripts/Veradigm, or NextGen
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, USCDI)
• 5+ years of experience in EHR integration, clinical data validation, and troubleshooting
• 3+ years of experience interpreting clinical workflows and mapping data exchange requirements
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy
• Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) onboarding and multi-vendor EHR environments
• Knowledge of SQL, interface engines, or data mapping tools
• Familiarity with NC HIEA initiatives, Medicaid digital health programs, or NCQA standards
• Experience supporting rural or underserved healthcare organizations
