Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Steneral Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Data Engineering. The role involves supporting and enhancing software applications, resolving software issues, and collaborating with various teams to ensure technology standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance existing software applications and components in the Cotiviti product suite
• Analyze and resolve software issues from internal/external customers
• Document specifications, design, features, and operations prior to production rollout
• Collaborate with senior developers, offshore teams, business owners, and project management
• Ensure adherence to technology standards during system development
• Execute solution enhancements to improve software performance and availability
• Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership
• Innovate and contribute to process and system improvements for efficiency
• Continuously learn and integrate new technologies into the product suite
• Mentor and support the development of other developers
• Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle with a focus on continuous improvement
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned

Skills

• BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong healthcare data experience
• Proficiency with large datasets and relational databases
• Experience with ETL processes
• Skilled in optimizing and tuning SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers
• Deep understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Experience with MS Access
• Familiarity with scripting languages (VBScript, PowerShell)
• Experience with Java frameworks and .NET Framework
• Knowledge of enterprise scheduling tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to take the TORC test tonight
• Must have a LinkedIn profile
