[Remote] Contracts Manager II

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Connect Life Sciences is seeking a Sourcing Contract Manager to join their Pharmaceutical Operations and Supply Chain Contracts team. This role involves managing contracts, assisting with supplier payment escalations, and collaborating with various teams to ensure contract compliance and financial requests are addressed.

  • Responsibilities
  • Draft Statements of Work (SoWs) and Change Orders (COs) for low-risk contracts using a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
  • Advise and troubleshoot on existing agreements under the guidance of senior team members
  • Route, track, and facilitate timely progress of contracts from submission through execution
  • Attend cross-functional internal and external supplier meetings to ensure contract terms are addressed and contracts are executed on schedule
  • Create purchase requisitions to enable the PSC business to commence work within the scope of executed contracts
  • Facilitate and support budget forecasting and accrual activities as needed
  • Provide support during financial audits at month-end or quarterly close
  • Maintain GxP and financial audit inspection readiness as applicable to the designated PSC business
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the team's ability to deliver value to the business
  • Skills
  • BS/BA degree in a related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant certification in the assigned area may be required

  • 1–2 years of direct experience in the life sciences industry with a focus on contract drafting and sourcing negotiations, particularly with outsourced services such as CMOs or clinical research testing laboratories
  • Working knowledge of clinical and commercial supply chain contract terms and conditions
  • Experience negotiating and drafting complex agreements including contract manufacturing, biologics, and clinical/commercial supply chain contracts
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba, and Tableau for clinical and commercial supply chain management
  • Experience with a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system; Agiloft preferred
