DMA Engineering is a Colorado-based eMEP engineering firm, recognized for its expertise in sustainable eMEP solutions and energy-efficient design. We are seeking a driven and proactive Associate Principal Engineer to manage projects and drive initiatives forward while collaborating with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects at various stages of the project life cycle
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures
• Oversee resources, timelines, budgets, and client requests
• Perform engineering work from energy modeling and design to writing commissioning plans
• Handle engineering projects from start to finish while knowing when and how to delegate tasks to team members or subcontractors
• Build strong client relationships and maintain high standards of project management and delivery

Skills

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing issued by any U.S. state or territory
• Five years of direct industry experience in mechanical engineering design, including work in HVAC design
• Two years of experience as a project engineer
• One year of experience managing junior personnel
