Quality Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Quality Coordinator to drive the linguistic quality and consistency of our localized content. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, culturally relevant, and high-quality translations across multiple platforms. Working closely with translators, localization project managers, and localization engineering teams, you will help refine style guides, glossaries, and linguistic assets while maintaining brand voice and message integrity. The ideal candidate is driven by a passion for language, a commitment to quality, and a curiosity for exploring new ways to enhance our processes.

Key Responsibilities

Linguistic Quality Ownership:Ensure high-quality translations that are accurate, culturally relevant, and in line with brand tone and style. Provide linguistic support to project managers and translation partners to assure the quality of deliverables according to customer requirements Actively work to avoid any linguistic problems and prevent them in advance Participate in and drive project decisions related to translation quality strategically and tactically Define and develop linguistic instructions as per project requirements. Style Guide & Glossary Development:Create and maintain language-specific style guides and glossaries. Ensure linguistic assets are up to date and aligned with evolving brand messaging. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:Work closely with translators, localization project managers, and internal teams to align on terminology and localization best practices. Provide linguistic feedback to vendors and conduct root cause analysis where necessary. Regular customer and vendor interaction on language quality issues. Process & Quality Improvement:Develop and implement QA processes to improve translation accuracy and efficiency. (Including the use of AI and LLM’s) Track and analyze linguistic quality metrics to drive continuous improvement. Training & Mentorship:Train translators and reviewers on linguistic guidelines and best practices. Conduct quality assessments and provide constructive feedback to localization teams. Required Qualifications & Skills Language Proficiency:Strong command of English. Native or near-native proficiency in at least one other language. Experience:5+ years of experience in localization, translation, or linguistic quality management. Experience working in a fast-paced localization environment and digital content. Technical Skills:Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Phrase, MemoQ) and QA tools (e.g., Xbench, Verifika). Understanding of localization processes, translation memory, and terminology management. Soft Skills:Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A commitment and passion for language The ability to drive consistent high-quality work independently and as a team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with both digital and printing localization. Familiarity with LQA methodology, e.g. DQF-MQM Project Management Other: Performs other related tasks as assigned by management. Complies with Spark’s policies and procedures. Ensure compliance to Spark’s quality, privacy, security and AI frameworks. Working hours as required to do your job but not less than 40 hours per week.
