Labcorp is seeking a Project Specialist to join our team Remotely. Work Schedule: per diem, as needed Job Responsibilities Manage and maintain multiple laboratory billing Workqueues (WQs) in Epic to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution. Review, update, and maintain billing training materials, workflow documentation, and process guides. Monitor and interpret CMS billing guidelines and payer policy updates; translate necessary changes into workflow updates and training materials. Collaborate with laboratory teams, billing teams, and HHS leadership to identify workflow gaps and implement corrective actions. Provide clear, professional communication across departments, including escalation of issues and sharing of process updates. Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation, billing tasks, and communication.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years or more medical billing experience 2 years or more of experience in a clinical laboratory environment

Preferred Qualifications

Current or prior Labcorp experience Additional Job Standards Experience updating or developing workflow documentation and training materials Strong familiarity with laboratory workflows, particularly reference and send‑out testing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain accuracy in complex workflows Working knowledge of CMS billing rules, medical necessity requirements, and payer guidelines Experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across departments Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze workflow issues.
