What You'll Do

Conduct user research and competitive analysis to validate hypotheses before development cycles begin. Define product roadmaps and specifications that engineering and design teams execute with minimal rework. Manage cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and unblock progress. Run rapid prototyping and testing cycles to validate product directions within 1-2 week sprints. Monitor adoption and engagement metrics post-launch, taking corrective action when results fall short. Build product documentation including user flows, specs, and wireframes that reduce team ambiguity.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves Proven ability to conduct user interviews and translate feedback into prioritized requirements. Experience managing full product builds in B2B SaaS from discovery through post-launch iteration. Demonstrated proficiency with UX/UI principles, can critique wireframes and flows with specific feedback. Strong project management discipline to break down complex problems and identify blockers early. Problem-solving grounded in customer evidence and data rather than intuition alone. Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and methodologies like Figma or UserTesting. Working knowledge of APIs and system integrations in B2B product workflows. Experience with data analytics and SQL for user behavior analysis and product insights. Hands-on understanding of automation frameworks and workflow optimization in products. Track record of build vs. buy analysis and evaluation for product decisions. Nice-to-haves Experience with AI-powered product development or generative AI feature integration. Background in SaaS workflow automation or process-heavy B2B categories. Who you are You've shipped products that moved the needle on user adoption or retention. You identify gaps in roadmaps and come back with prioritized customer problems and solutions without being asked. You change your position when data contradicts your initial view. You actively seek feedback from engineers, designers, and customers before finalizing proposals. You refuse to ship work that doesn't meet your bar for clarity and supporting evidence, even under timeline pressure. You mentor others on cross-functional problem-solving and review competitive products with rigor, catching edge cases others miss.
