Power BI Developer - Remote, Denver, CO

Duration: 6+ months
Seeking for a Power BI Developer to contribute to our Business Intelligence Program. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the following areas:
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with business and data analysts to understand requirements and objectives for reports and visualizations.
Identify relevant data sources and attributes for use in models.
Proficient in Excel, capable of complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Data Modeling:
Design and document efficient data models to support business requirements.
Deliver row and column-level security within Power BI semantic model.
Establish reusable semantic data models in Power BI.
Data Source Connectivity Setup:
Connect to various data sources including APIs, SQL databases, and Excel files.
Ensure seamless data extraction and transformation.
DAX Formulas:
Proficiency in writing DAX formulas, calculated columns, and measures.
Report Creation:
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
Optimize Power BI reports for performance.
Power BI Service & Deployment:
Publish reports to Power BI Service, manage access controls, and automate refresh schedules.
AI Familiarity:
Comfortable working with AI tools to enhance processes and optimize data analysis workflows.
Collaboration & Communication Skills:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Present complex data insights to non-technical audiences effectively.
