IT Help Desk Support Representative (Work From Home)

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to employees and clients via phone, email, and chat.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues remotely.

Guide users through step-by-step troubleshooting procedures.

Log and track technical support requests, ensuring timely resolution.

Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

Install, configure, and update software applications.

  • *

Assist with system updates, patches, and security measures.

Maintain IT documentation, including troubleshooting guides and FAQs.

Ensure excellent customer service and communication throughout the support process.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • *

Experience troubleshooting common IT issues, including software installation, network connectivity, and system performance.

Proficiency in remote desktop tools and IT support ticketing systems.

  • *

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • *

Ability to multitask and prioritize support requests effectively.

A patient and customer-focused attitude.

  • Experience
  • *

1-3 years of experience in IT help desk support or a related role.

  • *

Experience in a remote work environment is a plus.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are preferred but not required.

  • Working Hours

Flexible work schedule with 8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday).

  • *

Occasional on-call support may be required.

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).

Familiarity with cloud-based applications (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).

Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
