Job Description The Fitness Equation (“TFE”) is seeking a motivated Personal Trainer to provide fitness instruction and programming that improves the lives of our customers. The Expert Trainer will be an experienced trainer that is self-sufficient. They will be provided with leads to follow up on and volunteer for tables to reward members with an elevated experience. Opportunities: Education Reimbursement $40-50 per hour Promotion Sales commission. Responsibilities: Develop personalized exercise programs consistent with customer fitness and exercise goals. Conduct training service sessions with customers which includes TFE’s Fitness Assessment, FitEQ introductory training package, individual/partner/group training sessions, etc. Continuously monitor and assist customers of the club at service desk and on the exercise floor to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises. Consistently achieve monthly production goals established by the Fitness Director and/or Assistant Fitness Director. Maintain exercise floor, equipment, and facility cleanliness to ensure readiness for use. Maintain fitness and sports amenities in the club such as Basketball, Volleyball, and Rock Climbing areas during family time, pick up, league, or general use. Qualifications: Must hold a current CPR / AED certification. A current nationally accredited personal training certification (example: ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, or NSPA) OR a college degree in exercise related field Two additional certifications that are up to date. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated previous successful personal training experience in a commercial fitness center. • Must hold a current CPR / AED certification.
• A current nationally accredited personal training certification (example: ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, or NSPA) OR a college degree in exercise related field
• Two additional certifications that are up to date.

Desired qualifications:

• Demonstrated previous successful personal training experience in a commercial fitness center.
