Job Overview

As an Enterprise Data Storage Administrator at careerzynith, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our data storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and DAS conditions. You will implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies, efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software, and define and implement storage capacity planning strategies based on industry standards and best practices. You will also collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on architecture and configuration selection, provide technical support and guidance on complex activities, and perform code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain enterprise data storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and DAS conditions

• Implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies
• Efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software
• Define and implement storage capacity planning strategies, based on industry standards and best practices
• Collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on architecture and configuration selection
• Provide technical support and guidance on complex activities, such as installation, configuration, and backup/restore operations
• Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems

Requirements

* 3+ years of experience in data storage or a related field, with emphasis on networking and storage protocols

• Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation
• Proven expertise in enterprise storage administration, with skill in DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs
• Strong understanding of current and emerging data protection technologies
• Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
• Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS
• Operating system administration skills (both Linux and Windows)
• VMWare concepts and administration
