Content Marketing Manager

Remote · Canada Full-time

At Oscilar, we're building the most advanced AI Risk Decisioning™ Platform. Banks, fintechs, and digitally native organizations rely on us to manage their fraud, credit, and compliance risk with the power of AI. If you're passionate about solving complex problems and making the internet safer for everyone, this is your place. Why Join Us? Mission-driven teams: Work alongside industry veterans from Meta, Uber, Citi, and Confluent, all united by a shared goal to make the digital world safer. Ownership and impact: We believe in extreme ownership. You'll be empowered to take responsibility, move fast, and make decisions that drive our mission forward. Innovate at the cutting edge: Your work will shape how modern finance detects fraud and manages risk. Role Overview: We are hiring a Founding Content Marketing Manager to build Oscilar's content engine across every surface that matters — search, social, email, and brand. Your job is to produce a lot of content, put it in front of the right people, and make Oscilar the most recognized brand in AI risk decisioning. You will write SEO and AEO articles, ghost-write exec social posts, stand up our Twitter and Reddit presence, run email newsletters, and lead creative brand campaigns from video to podcasts to physical books. This role is for a content operator who believes the cost of publishing has collapsed and that the winners in B2B brand are the teams who ship ten times more content at a higher bar than their competitors. You will treat AI as a force multiplier and run content pipelines that no four-person team could have run two years ago. This is a high-ownership role with direct impact on how the market perceives Oscilar and on how much organic pipeline our brand creates. You will report to the Head of Growth and partner closely with our Execs, Design, Performance Marketing, Events, and Customer Marketing teams. What You'll Do: Publish multiple pieces of content every week across formats and channels Own the weekly editorial meeting and the quarterly content roadmap Source topics from exec POVs, customer calls, Slack, #pulse, and your own reading Brief, review, and polish writing — yours and others' — to a consistent Oscilar voice Run experiments: new formats, new channels, new distribution tactics Read the numbers: what ranked, what got cited, what drove pipeline, what flopped SEO & AEO Articles Own the blog as a pipeline channel — editorial calendar, topic strategy, production, and performance Ship SEO articles that rank and AEO articles that get cited by LLMs Partner with the Performance Marketing Manager on keyword strategy and landing page architecture Build the content repurposing pipeline: blog → ebook → webinar → social → newsletter Executive Thought Leadership Ghost-write LinkedIn posts, essays, and op-eds for Neha, Sachin, Saurabh, and other execs Build each exec's voice into a distinct, recognizable point of view on risk, fraud, and AI in finance Run the weekly cadence: pulse sourcing, drafts, review, publish, measure Coordinate with PR and events teams on speaking opportunities and earned media New Channel Builds Stand up Oscilar's presence on Twitter/X and Reddit from scratch — brand handle, exec handles, subreddit engagement strategy Experiment with short-form video, podcast clips, and community-native formats Build a playbook for each channel that is distinct from LinkedIn, not a copy-paste Brand & Creative Campaigns Lead creative brand campaigns across video, podcasts, physical books, and formats we have not tried yet Produce brand marketing content that makes Oscilar feel bigger than its headcount Brief and manage external creative partners: videographers, designers, illustrators, sound engineers Own the taste bar on what ships with the Oscilar name on it Email Newsletter & Customer Marketing Launch and grow an external email newsletter that our ICP actually wants in their inbox Run customer marketing content: case studies, customer spotlights, user stories, and lifecycle email Coordinate with CS and Sales on customer narratives that work for both prospects and existing accounts AI-Assisted Content Pipelines Build and run content production pipelines powered by Claude Cowork, Claude Code, and agentic AI Design workflows that turn one anchor asset (a research report, a webinar, a book chapter) into 30 downstream pieces Maintain the taste filter: AI produces the volume, you produce the quality bar Ship the internal tools and prompts the rest of the marketing team needs to go faster What We're Looking For: Content Generalist with Range 5–7+ years in B2B content, brand, or editorial roles Comfortable across formats: long-form SEO, social, video scripts, newsletters, podcasts, ebooks, and more Portfolio shows range, not just one format done well ten times Distribution-First Thinker You do not write content and hope it finds an audience — you design for the channel before you start Deep familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, search, email, and podcast ecosystems You have launched a new channel from zero and know what the first 90 days look like Knack for Quantity You ship at a volume most content marketers consider reckless — and somehow the quality holds You have opinions on where polish adds pipeline and where it just slows you down Comfortable making the call to publish when it is 80% right and iterate in public B2B Brand Instinct You understand how content compounds into brand in B2B and software specifically You can name the companies doing this well right now and explain why You know the difference between "content that ranks" and "content that builds a brand" — and you can do both AI-Native Operator Daily operator of Claude Cowork and Claude Code, or equivalent agentic AI tools You have built content pipelines powered by AI and can show receipts You reach for an AI agent before you reach for a freelancer You have strong opinions on where AI belongs in content production and where a human has to hold the pen Bonus Experience Content marketing at a company selling to financial institutions or regulated industries Journalism, editorial, or longform writing background Video production fluency — scripting, directing, or editing short-form content yourself Podcast production experience, from booking to post-production Comfort shipping webapps or microsites with GitHub and Vercel (or similar) for content campaigns Worked at a company in the $5M–$50M ARR scaling phase Why This Role Is Unique At Oscilar, you will: Build the content engine from scratch — formats, channels, voice, and cadence are all yours to define Ghost-write for execs with real points of view, not recycled LinkedIn takes Lead creative bets most B2B companies never make — video, podcasts, physical books, and whatever comes next Operate with high autonomy, real budget, and a team that values shipping over planning Benefits and Other Perks: Compensation: Competitive salary and equity packages, including a 401k plan. Flexibility: Remote first culture. Health: 100% Employer covered comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with a top tier plan for you and your dependents. (US) Balance: Unlimited PTO policy. Culture: Family-Friendly environment; Regular team events and offsites. Development: Unparalleled learning and professional development opportunities. Impact: Making the internet safer by protecting online transactions.
