Associate Project Controller & Administration – Events (m/f/d)

Join our US controlling team to help make every project financially successful. For our US team , we are looking for an Associate Project Controller & Administration – Events (m/f/d) . In this role you will support project-level financial planning, invoicing, and close-outs while also helping with general office and HR administrative tasks. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of finance/accounting or events experience who enjoys working with numbers. Key responsibilities

  • Help ensure accurate project setup in the ERP system and maintain project records
  • Support invoicing, reconciliations, and routine month-end project tasks
  • Prepare basic profitability and status reports and update forecasts under supervision
  • Support payment milestone tracking and basic risk-management activities
  • Provide administrative support to our Commercial Excellence Team (e.g. entering new jobs into the ERP system, prepare and/or modify Powerpoint sales presentations) and administrative support on Operational and HR tasks (e.g., vendor coordination, employee handbook updates, onboarding assistance)
  • Collaborate with project managers and the German controlling team to align processes and reporting
  • Communicate clearly across time zones with internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, project administration, or events operations
  • Comfortable with Excel and working with data; ability to learn and use ERP systems quickly
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across international teams and time zones
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to take on administrative duties
  • Authorization to work in the US
