About the Role

We are seeking experienced Accountants to join a growing offshore team based in Pakistan. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with strong technical expertise and a desire to work with Australian clients in a dynamic and professional environment. We are looking to hire multiple candidates based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit. Applicants with prior Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) experience and knowledge of the BGL accounting system will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with clients to obtain data, records, and documentation required for accounting and compliance purposes. Prepare financial statements and tax returns accurately and in accordance with Australian standards. Develop and maintain comprehensive workpapers supporting financial statements and tax returns. Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion. Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies where required. Identify actual or potential compliance issues and escalate appropriately. Manage pension compliance and reporting requirements. Support workflow management and maintain regular communication with management regarding key matters. Ensure all lodgement and reporting deadlines are met.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an outsourced or offshore service environment. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Prior SMSF accounting experience is highly desirable. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with the BGL accounting system is highly desirable. Working Hours This role operates on Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Core working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST.
